Title:!Oho! BookDescription:Presented for your consideration is this interesting antique book titled, !Oho! It was written by Laurence Whistler with drawings by Rex Whistler. It was published in 1946 by John Lane The Bodley Head in London. The 32 page book contains several very detailed, caricatures that are double faced. When the caricatures are turned one way they have one look and expression and when turned the opposite way bare a totally different look and expression. Each expressi...on is accompanied by a poem on the opposite page. The poem relates to the caricature and the expression on its face. The book is completed with a hardcover with a grotesque looking caricature on the front and back covers. All pages appear to be intact and free of damage. Binding is tight. This interesting and unusual book would make a great addition to any antique or collectible book collection!
There is some flaking of the spine binding. Light cover edge wear. Name of a previous owner is marked in pencil on the inside back cover. No stains or water damage. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 9 3/4" long, 7 3/8" wide and just under 1/4" thick.
