Lovely colorful Early brooch in great condition except for the missing hook. The pin is in place but the c clasp side is missing. This looks like a fairly simple fix. The catch looks like it was drilled in not just glued on. This piece was dipped in hot water and there was a strong acrid chemical smell but I did not notice a positive result with Simichrome. Maybe another type of early plastic? The color looks like a thin wash of laquer over a very mellow ivory t...one base plastic. All of the rhinestones are in place and sparkling! Really nice unique piece with gorgeous color. Approx 2 5/8" wide. Happy to answer questions and thanks for looking.
