Offered for sale is this 2 volume book lot titled, HANDBOOK OF CHEMICAL MICROSCOPY by Emile Monnin Chamot and Clyde Walter Mason in fair to good overall condition. Volume one has a title page date of 1938 and volume two is dated 1940. Both are stated Second Edition books. They were published out of New York by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. and both are very well illustrated. They measure about 9 1/4" by 6 1/4" and volume one has 478 pages while volume two has 438 pages. There is some lig...ht note taking in the books with most of it on the blank pages. Both have printed bookplates and show a previous owner out of Ithaca NY on them. There is some wear on the hardcovers edges with the worst of it being on volume one as it has a tear in the cloth along the spine edge. There is light yellowing and foxing and the pages still are tight, clean and very readable. Shipping and handling to any of the 50 states is $5.00 and will be paid for by the winning bidder.
