Poster advertising three films by Scott B and Beth B from their New York City based independent film production company B Movies. “The Bs” are considered among the best-known New York No Wave filmmakers of the late 1970s and early 1980s. The three films advertised are “G Man” (1978), featur...ing Bill Rice and Marcia Resnick, “Letters to Dad” (1979), featuring John Ahearn, Ida Appelbroog, Beth B, Scott B, Don Christenson, Ellen Cooper, Vivenne Dick, Peter Grass, Sally Grass, Laura Kennedy, Christof Kohlhofer, Arto Lindsay, Tom Otterness, Pat Place, Bill Rice, Ulle Rimkus, Terry Robinson, Chiara Smith, and Robert Smith, and “Black Box” (1978), starring Lydia Lunch and Bob Mason. In Fair condition with some age toning to the top edge and edge wear. There is one large crease down the middle where the poster was folded in half. All four corners have a bit of dark staining to them, presumably from tape residue. There is also a dark marking right under the “Letters to Dad” image. Still, a presentable example of an extremely fragile piece of New York underground film ephemera. Please see photos for condition details.
