Alice's autobiography was one of the mantras of the 1960's and early 1970's. It stands out as one of only several books (Timothy Leary, Buckminster Fuller, Baba Ram Das, to name a few authors) which were cornerstones of the Hippie generation. The pages of the book are in excellent condition without any marks or folded or torn pages. The binding, which is cloth, is worn. The spine is fine but delicate, obviously due to resting alwats upright, putting pressure on the spine. Regardless, i...t was almost an anthem in the US during the sixties. Alice is long gone, but the book feels like the old lady of 85 years, which it is.
