I have recently been going through some family items and have come across some books which I will be listing. I have kept some for myself as they are very interesting to look at things from 60-70 years ago. This book is in good condition for the year (1942) - the inside pages are all intact and as per the photos are in good condition - there is some very slight yellowing to the pages but nothing terrible. The inside and back cover have partly come away from the outer ...cover (also in photos). On the inside front cover there is a label to show the book was presented to my relative in 1942 when he completed his apprenticeship.
The book is described as:
"For machine shop and drafting room. A reference book on machine design and shop practice for the mechanical, engineer, draftsman, toolmaker and machinist." Please note the following:
I will combine postage costs on multiple buys - once the listings end, I will send a revised invoice with the amount to be paid.
I expect to receive payment within 3 days of auction ending please. If you have any problems, please make contact with me asap. I will report non-payment 4 days after the listing ends. I do not like to do this, but I do not understand why people bid on items and then have no intention of making contact or paying for the item. Sorry for the moan but this seems to be happening quite a lot recently!!!
