Joseph Addison (1 May 1672 – 17 June 1719) was an English essayist, poet, &nbs...p;playwright, and politician. He was the eldest son of The Reverend Lancelot Addison. His name is usually remembered alongside that of his long-standing friend, Richard Steele, with whom he founded The Spectator magazine
Bound in leather. Title lettering to the spine which has 5 raised bands. The board and spine edges are worn. Front board is pulling but still attached. This book is in good condition, the pages are clean and bright, and tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 267pp 17 cm x 11 cm.
