REFURBISHED COLD WAR ERA 1950 MENS BULOVA "RUXTON" MODEL 17 JEWELS MOVEMENT MENS OR WOMENS WATCH. This is a beautiful example of a classic men's barrel case watch that was available only briefly during the 1950's. The movement is a desirable and dependable 10BM, 17 jewel mechanical movement that is running strong and keeping good time. This is a very desirable and collectible Gentlemens wristwatch that would make an excellent gi...ft. It has a new, vintage, genuine leather alligator over calf strap with new spring bars. if you prefer a black leather strap let me know when you win this watch. The watch is marked Bulova on the dial, case back, crown and movement and the numbers match. The case and case back are free of and dings or deep scratches and the acrylic crystal has been polished free of and scratches. The original dial has a mild, even patina and the gold filled hands and hour markers are bright. The movement appears to have been recently serviced but I did not have it serviced. Please look at all of the photos as they are part of the description, remember to wind vintage watches with care, never considered them waterproof, and understand that they are not as accurate as quartz Watches.
