This is a very fine condition, Barbara R. Sampson, hand drawn and hand colored, World War II patriotic cover featuring an illustration of the American Statue of Liberty with the  message, "America Liberty and Justice".  Mrs. Sampson is listed as publisher # 526 in Lawrence Sherman's 2006 book "United States Patriotic Envelopes of World War II".
This cover was mailed by Mrs. Sampson, on August 9, 1945 in Peoria, Illinois to her husband  in Chicago, and has several very... small glue spots in the corners on the reverse side from previous album mounting.
