Vintage Vogue BKW Ginny 1957 ADORABLE

This is an adorable bent knee walker Ginny doll from 1957. Her original blond wig is thick and curled with full bangs. She has blue eyes that open and close easily on their own and very pretty blush. She has a working walker, is very clean, and is free of splits, cracks, or damage. In bright light I see the faintest of rubber band stains near her eyes, quite common with the bent knee walker dolls from vogue. She’s a great doll. She is wearing a complete #7061 outfit that is one of th...e more sought after, and more rare ones from 1957. It consists of a coat and dress with accessories. The dress is pink taffeta with a lavish lace overlay (Vogue’s trims were always over the top outstanding; as were their fabrics and construction) and satin ribbon at the waist. Under the dress are matching taffeta loop trimmed panties. On her feet are Ginny marked shoes and vintage socks. On her head is a velvet headband/hat with white “gems, ” one of two I’ve seen with this outfit. Over her dress is the correct included black velvet coat lined in pink satin with pink ribbon ties at the waist. The entire outfit is very good played with condition, rare for this outfit.
