The 375th was activated in June of 1949. Looking at the construction of this flag which is individual gold felt numbers and letters stitched onto a strong navy blue woven fabric I expect it is of serious vintage and possibly one of the first set ever made for this air wing. It saw enough use to get stretched just a little near the eyelets and starting to tear away from the top one, then someone put it away carefully enough that it lasted until today. The age cannot be guaranteed but th...is type is more typical of old than new and if not Korean War era I think surely not later than Vietnam War era. About 33" x 47" and in Very Good or better condition with no bug bites at all and no acidic aging. Historic and a super souvenir.
