Antique Simon & Halbig / Kammer & Reinhardt Bisque Head Doll In Costume

A real delightful 1900 Simon & Halbig and Kammer & Reinhardt doll in her original regional costume. She stands 17" / 43cm tall. Her fine smooth bisque socket head is in excellent condition and her face paint is simply wonderful ( Halbig at its finest ) with feathery eyebrows and soft rosy cheeks. Her sweet open mouth reveals 4 upper perfectly formed teeth. She has brown glass sleep eyes with good eye wax. Both ears are pierced. This mold has a delightful dimple in her chin and... a slight but charming double chin. The back of her head is incised " S & H / K *R / 46 ". She has her original dark blonde mohair wig still in factory curls. She comes on her original fully jointed wood/composition body which is in very good condition and still has original finish. Her hand and feet are very pretty. She has all fingers and toes which still retain the original fine red lines that define them.She come wearing her original regional costume which consists of a crepe de chine black skirt with a emerald green silk border with gold metal braiding trim. Her white pinny is made of the finest cotton voile with fine hand crochet trim. The white blouse is also made of very fine quality voile with fine hand crochet cuffs and collar. Her emerald green waist coat is made of fine wool felt trimmed with red/white/green braid. She also has on a white antique petticoat with fine hand crochet hem. Her cream knitted vest and pants are later. She also has on fine pointelle socks and cream antique shoes ( the sole on the right shoe is missing ).
