This motion picture was produced by a branch of our armed forces and was filmed to promote the 6th War Bond drive during world war two. It shows the gore and tough fighting on IWO JIMA. Then there is a pitch to raise even more funds to finish the job. This is a great piece of world war two history and an original 1940's vintage 16mm film print in very nice co...ndition. These WAR BOND DRIVES were key to the war effort at home and were discarded after the war. It's rare to find any of these in good condition and this is exceptional. The contrast is far nicer then in my photos with only minor wear. Also, I have two other titles used for the war bond effort I'll be listing soon.
Would be great for a military museum or producer because it's public domain.
