Antique Vintage Child's Toy Pottery Saucer of Teddy B (Roosevelt Bear) Banged the Desk~1906What an adorable piece over 100+ years old in very good condition. There are no cracks on it but there is a very tiny nick on the top of the plate on the image (see photo 7). There is also signs of tight crazing and some light yellow age discoloration at some spots. It has an scalloped edge with a gold brushed painted trim. The phrase underneath the bear reads: "TEDDY B banged the desk and said t...hat he Would run the school that day and see?"Measures 4 3/4" in diameter. Weighs 3.4 ounces (prior to packaging)On the back it states: By Permission of the copyright Buffalo Pottery (Buffalo symbol) Edw. Stern & Co. Inc 1906 in a circle.
