You could see these earrings as a commentary of how women were looked at in the past (or even now by some). Or as part of the Surrealism Movement - an influence that runs through all of this line of jewelry I made in the 80's and 90's. They are dramatic as well as fun with a lot of detail in the dress as well as patterning in the Jasper Beads that sit on the shoulders.
