People collect these apparently, however, if you just want to plop your Roast Goose on it to allow the fat to drain away onto another plate below, then this is just the ticket!It's a large Antique Blue Fluted Meat Drainer by Royal Copenhagen of Denmark.
Produced between 1870-1890 and marked with only some very faint blue wavy lines on the rear, which has a smaller blue mark beside them. There are some other incised marks, but I can't say with any confidence what they represent.
