Here you find a very nice pair of vintage revolver ammunition carry pouches. The one with a single snap is to carry six 38 or 357 cartridges on a speed loading strip. This would be carried in your pocket and would allow a faster reloading in the field. Next is a Bucheimer number 738 leather pouch. This too would carry rounds for duty in the field. This second pouch attaches to the belt and can be accessed from either snap. When I began my career in t...he law enforcement field I had the option of revolver or auto pistol carry.
