Presenting a rare designed Zuni, Sterling Silver, and Turquoise, Jet and Shell 'Turtle' pin/brooch. This unique Zuni pin, features a natural Shell back, with inlaid Turquoise and Jet head, legs, and tail. The slightly contoured Turtle measures approximately 2" from head to tail, and weighs 12.8 grams. The pin contains its original tight working, locking pin clasp. It is unmarked like many early Native American pieces, but guarenteed to test Sterling. The pin is unpolished, exhibiting a... lightly darkened, aged patina. Creatively designed, one of a kind! Part of my personal pin collection.
