Offered for sale is this antique large Conta & Boehme German porcelain piano baby figure. It is Conta & Boehme model number 8266, and dates from the late Victorian 1890's. It is decorated with raised gold beads. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.
The figurine is just over 10.5 inches tall. It weighs over 3 pounds.
The pinkie finger on the left hand is missing (not very noticeable on display because it is under the hand), there is loss to the bow on the lef...t shoulder, and there is a shallow flake to a tuft of hair - the tip of the pen is pointing to these. There are some minor rubs to the gold on the raised beads. Please see the close up pictures.
