Original Description:
I'm offering a small quart jug by Chatham County potter Nicholas Fox...stamped "N FOX". It's my understanding he's considered possibly the finest potter in the N.C. tradition. This jug measures 7 1/2" tall x 4 3/4" across not including the handle and 3 1/4" dia. on the bottom. It is in extremely nice condition. There is a touch of roughness inside the mouth and a slight drying crack on the handle (both pictured and no problem. This is a rare size almost never up for sale. This jug is ...fresh to the market. Great addition to any North Carolina / Southern Pottery crock jug pitcher bowl collection of pottery and stoneware.
