Original Description:
This is a pony banjo from the teens. I'm guessing it was made by Slingerland when they were making banjos under the SS Stewart name. 8" head.  Scale is approx. 18".  The pot was lacquered over at some point. Not the best of jobs. Neck is very clean. Great project. Thanks for looking and best of luck!
