Fine Meiji Japanese Cloisonne vase in the manner of Namikawa.
Provenance: Japan.Age: Meiji Period (C.1868 - 1912).Size: The piece measures 12.5cm in height x 9cm in width.Artist/signature: Unsigned, however attributable to the early works of Namikawa, typified by the yellow ground. Condition: The piece has one star crack to the body. No further issues.Comments: A fine Meiji Japanese Cloisonne vase, in the manner of Na...mikawa. The vase is decorated with many Butterflies applied in a variety of coloured enamels on a yellow ground. The work appears to be applied with silver wires, which have tarnished over time.
