Original issue silent movie era sheet music entitled - JACKIE COOGAN, by Harold Atteridge & Jean Schwartz. Published 1923 by HARMS Music of NYC. This piece is from the Stage / Broadway Show ... THE PASSING SHOW OF 1923 w/ some music by Sigmund Romberg; produced by the Shubert Bros.. No cover photo of Jackie Coogan (1914-1984), the biggest child star of the Silent Screen. Coogan appeared in films, on radio & TV from 1917-84. Most famous for his 1921... movie with Charlie Chaplin where he played the title role in THE KID. Also known for the TV series (1964-66) THE ADDAMS FAMILY where he played Uncle Fester. Coogan was married to screen star Betty Grable 1937-39. This piece of music is complete, & an interesting movie tie-in, 96 years old. Suitable for framing, standard format. This is the only 1 of 2 examples I ran across in 50 years of active collecting (some of the other tunes from this Show are more common), I'd consider it RARE. Excellent to Near Mint condition, strong spine, clean - crisp - vivid; etc.. Musically complete. See photos .......
