Listing is for George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984). It is a RARE first American edition printed in 1949. Binding is still very firm and strong. Guessing it has only been read once maybe twice (very slight crease down the spine to indicate very light use, crease pictured).There is a name and date written on the very first page (pictured), also date from 1949.
This hardcover book is missing the dust jacket.
Very rare find here, seems to be in bett...er condition then most all the other listings that do not have the dust jacket.
