Here for auction is a really neat vintage Coleman Backpack II Tent. Model 8551-814. The original paperwork with instructions ( of which there are 2 sets ) shows this to be from the 1970's. It appears to be a smaller version of the large cabin tents. This has been used and has an old tent smell somewhat and the floor may be a bit sticky. It, however is in working order with no rips, tears or repairs. All zippers work fine. Has a large 2 sided front door with screen. You can ...also close the door completely with the zippered wall. Has a ceiling vent or window that can also be closed. This tent has no rainfly. All the poles are complete and nice. Set up, it measures approx 95 x 62 x 46" tall. Has 11 stakes and some guyline. Very much a classic and very cool 70's backpacking tent. Comes with the original Coleman box which has storage wear to it and will ship in that box. I offer this as found and as shown and have donemy best to describe it. Please read allof my description and look at all of the images as they are an important partof the description.
