Translated German Fieldpost Letter - Panzer Regiment - Partisans Dead Comrade

Original fieldpost letter, written by a German soldier who was with the Panzer Grenadier Regiment 304 of the 2. Panzer Division. Whe he wrote this letter, the Regiment fought the heavy known battles in Rshew. The regiment was destroyed in the Normandy in August 1944.
The soldier wrote the following lines:

It... took a long time, but your package had still found its way to us. Yesterday it arrived and of course gave me great pleasure. Just now I have consumed the last cookies.
