I really treasure this volume. No dust jacket. Both front and backboard slightly stained otherwise excellent. Both French grooves are perfect. The spine as you can see in the photos very nice. The tale of spine has some minor nicks. Page ends have some minor staining... What's rare about this book is three things. One the condition is great considering it's almost 90 years old.., two, ..it is signed by the author Henry Steele commager professor of History New York University. Mister Co...mmager is a co-author with Samuel Morrison. And the third thing is the pull-out map after the table of contents that still affixed to the spine.
