I just purchase a house and I would like to sell old items left behind by previous owner. I think . It is mounted with a beautiful blade that measures 28 5/8 inches in length which remains in good original condition with only surface blemishes and rusting pitting(SEE PHOTOS).The blade doesn't have any factory marking .The pretty brass guard is wonderfully enhanced with lovely floral pierced working with anchor and crown a very nicely carved horn? , bone? hilt that remains in good condition with cracking , inside the handle small piece is missing (SEE PHOTOS). Handle and guard a little bit loose but original twisted wire wrap still securely in place. The leather scabbard remains in poor condition and very soft . Half of the scabbard stitches is tore ( SEE PHOTOS) Brass fittings remain in good condition only bottom has acidic stains (SEE PHOTOS) On the top fitting has engraving initial of the owner I think . Overall measuring 34 1/2 inches in length, with scabbard 36 3/4 inches in length.Excellent addition to any collection, Great Gift, or simply spoil yourself.
