 Amazing condition! Offered is a vintage teak ice bucket with original gold gilt stainless steel tongs. Manufactured by Dansk Designs Denmark ca.1960's with the early 4 ducks mark. Designed by the prolific Danish designer Jens Quistgaard. Gorgeous staved teak wood with a robust grain pattern in a not often seen design. Very handsome...almost hat box form...but with unique proportions and a beautiful ever so slight concave lid...masterful design! The interior... medium soft hard bl...ack plastic with lovely high quality gold gilt over stainless steel pair of ice tongs by the German maker Grasoli. Signed on the verso (photo #3). Dimensions: 9" round x 5" tall. In excellent vintage condition..like new old stock.!! The tongs have very minor gilt loss...also quite amazing per their age. A must have for the early designs Dansk JHQ enthusiast...a real gem... so seldom seen! Not to be MISSED! Smoke/pet free. Thank you for looking! Happy bidding.
