Original Description:
A Very Rare Antique Alabaster Grand Tour Miniature Model of the Baptistery of Piza St. John in Italy. Construction was started in 1152 and finished in 1363. It is theLargest Baptistery in Italy.
The Model is mounted on a Wooden Base with Felt under and Three Wooden Bun Feet.
The Stand would originally have had a Glass Dome, which is no longer present.
In Good condition for age with minor losses gained over time as you might expect.
Displays wonderfully and is a rare fi...nd!

Model Size:   5.5" high x 3" wide.Base Size:   6" dia.
