Rare Western Electric VT-1 Vacuum Tube with brass base and tested good overall. This is a very early Western Electric Signal Corps military tube. It appears to be New Old Stock, but I can't be certain of that. It has a lot of brass tarnish on the base. The tube doesn't have any markings that are discernible as far as I can tell at this time. This may be due to the heavy brass tarnish from the base or the fact that the markings have age faded. However, it does have a partial... paper level where Western Electric can be made out as well as the fact the tube had an Platinum oxide filament. The filament is good, but my tester doesn't have the settings to test this tube. I'm selling it as is, with no warranty. It is inside a generic White tube box that was marked VT - 1. The box shows lots of wear, tape residue and markings.
