Brown Bess Lock - East India Company - London Made - Nepal Marked

This is a authentic East India Company lock for a Brown Bess. It is London made and at some point was given to the Government of Nepal who put their crest on it. This came from the IMA cache of weapons brought back from the Royal Palace. Check out their web sight to read all the details.
As the photos show it holds in both the full and half cock position. The frizzen also functions correctly but seems a tad bit loose. It might tighten up after a good cleaning.
All that has ...been done to this is a gentle soaking in some simple green to remove the worse of the grease and stuff that it was stored in. I don't see any remains of the E.I.C. markings but they could be under all that grime, etc...
