Original medal from Cambridge University - appears to have been awarded to Peters of Cambridge - only details we can find refer to something called 'Trial Eights', which would appear to be connected to the rowing teams, but we are not experts in this field, so we leave it to you. Believed to date from before WW1, but we have been unable to identify the person named, and so have been unable to date it exactly. No doubt someone out there will know exactly what this is, and fr...om when.It needs a good clean, but is in good condition and is undamaged.Measures: 5cm diameter (approx 2") x 0.5cm thickYou can see this and many other pieces on our web site or by visiting our showroom in Piddlehinton, Dorset - by appointment only
