ORIGINAL HISTORIC FRENCH AMBER GUN FLINTS. These fine flints were found at various Indian trade sites in New York State. They are quite different from the British flints I usually sell, much thinner and more extensively knapped, and of course these are the highly desired French Amber (even though they look grey in the photos) rather than the British Black flints. With this lot you will get 2 flints as indicated in the photos. And keep in mind that these are "type" photos..., so the flints you receive will vary somewhat in size, but will be similar in condition and color to what you see here. These are wonderful for collections and displays and could still be mounted in a flintlock and used as intended. These are great collectible artifacts.
