Triple Wishbone Spiderleg Whalebone Dining Table May Be Heywood Wakefield? In Ct I be have found a lot of Heywood Wakefield Furniture in the past. I grabbed this one right up when I saw it at my favorite auction recently...This dining table appears to be the Heywood Wakefield table that was produced between 1948 and 1955 or possibly a reproduction of it. The reason I say that is I do not see a Heywood Wakefield logo on it. I did some research and did not see any reproductions out there..., but I've only seen a few pieces without the logo in the past. You be the professional and judge for yourself. The auctioneer that sold it to me is an old friend. He sold it as a Heywood Wakefield table and he has been in the business for over 30 years. I am pricing it accordingly just in case it is reproduction. If it is an original you get a tremendous value here! One eBay user contacted me and said it was possibly from the blowing rock furniture company in NC. Reduced for wellfleet2 from $300 to $150 on 6-14-18... Please do not purchase it as it is being held for wellfleet2It has a unique three leg wishbone/spiderleg/whalebone base with two 18" center leafs. The legs are easily detached with a Phillips head screwdriver should you need to I have a smaller 2-legged version of the table as seen in the outdoor pictures. The table measures approximately 40" X 32 wide without any of the legs or leafs installed and 40" X 68" with the extension leafs in place. It is located in Norwich, CT. Buyer to pick up here, arrange for delivery, or meet me along my routes to the Norwalk or Coventry, CT areas which I travel at least twice a month. I could ship via FedEx ground if desired. It would be a large heavy box and I would prefer to use your FedEx or UPS account if you have one.
