Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this rare early version of the Electro Voice 666 dynamic cardioid microphone with the original wooden case, original Electro Voice 300 clip and screw in adapter. I added a 3 pin switchcraft XLR adapter to UA-3-12 connector crafted by Bluetrader Bob to fit the microphone. XLR cable ready. The microphone has 3 impedance options. 50-150 and 250 OHMS. They were factory set ...at 50 OHMS. This one is currently set at 250 OHMS. The microphone has great output and is in good cosmetic condition for age with some areas of paint chipping and scuffs. I replaced the deteriorated foam in the screen. Very hard to come across the older version with all the original accessories.
