All original and exceptionally rare this marvelous fellow was createdover a century ago ( ca. 1915)! These very early mohair Donkeys on wooden wheels are becoming quite scarce and hard to find and frequently are in a state of disrepair.In addition to his very good condition(see adetailed condition statement at top of the listing), this handsome guy has managed to retain his very valuable Steiff  long trailing ff button.He stands approximately 15" tall (to the t...op of his ears) x 17" long.His open mouth contributes to a very happy and joyful expression.Oh so cute....This particular early antique Donkey is not offered very often and would be a star in any Steiff or Donkey lovers collection.
