You are bidding on a complete 1962 edition APBA Football Game from with cards based on the 1960 season. The cards are in near mint condition. The cards have no markings on them. The game box is contained in the original shipping carton from APBA (see postmark in photos). Note into photos one team is not in the box with the others. This is because the league expanded to 13 teams with the addition of the Dallas Cowboys and the original 12 team box didn’t work anymore.... The seller purchased the set when it was issued by APBA in the summer of 1961. The set has been in storage for over 50 years. I collected APBA Football from the first year of issue. It is time to downsize so I am offering this and other sets as others might be interested in collecting. About the 1960 season:There were 13 teams in the league. The Eastern Conference was won by the Philadelphia Eagles. Norm Van Brocklin was MVP.In the Western Conference was won by the Green Bay Packers..In the championship game the Eagles defeated the Packers 17 - 13.
