21" Kley & Hahn Walkure German Doll. Bisque head marked 250 K&H Walkure 2 1/4 Germany. Composition body shows slight wear to one hand, but no finger loss. Has a seed pearl bracelet. This is exactly how we obtained the doll from a Massachusetts estate auction 30 years ago. Eyes are still properly set and active. Clothing needs attention, has green silk ribbon laced through for accent. Undergarments present. Hat is beat on crown but still presents well on head if not studying the... top and seems so charming with the subtle upturn to edge. Hair is natural and the original pasteboard pate is loose within the hair. Eyes will be immobilized for shipping with elastic string though holes that originally served the purpose in shipping when new along with some loose foam peanuts in the head. Did not remove the shoes or clothes to fully examine body but the belly peek I took shows very clean on what is covered. Legs show wear/soil typical of non-abusive play. Elastic tension going flat and will require a re-string eventually, doll not limp, just not super tight. Any overcharge in postage will be refunded. I'll put insurance on it.
