This auction is for a Vintage Prewar Lionel Standard Gauge No.402E 0-4-4-0 Dual Motor Electric Engine With The Original Box.It was made in 1926.It is in Excellent condition and it is complete and all original except for the 8 Drive wheels that have been replaced with reproduction replacement wheels.The die-cast headlights have some crazing but they are solid.It has 2 "Super Motors" and it has been tested and it runs and tracks great and the pendulum type E-unit works. I had it pulling ...4 large passenger cars without any problems. The 2 headlights work and they are properly wired to change direction with the engine.This engine is all metal and it measures 17" long not counting the couplers. It comes with the original box that is missing all the flaps and a small part of the box is torn off at one end.The cardboard insert is very clean and solid.
