THE MOUNTS ARE OF BRASS WITH MAMELUKE STYLE CROSS GUARD. THE GRIPS ARE OF EBONY OR BLACK WOOD. THE BLADE IS STRAIGHT DOUBLE EDGED AND HAS A MAIN SAW EDGE. CONDITION IS FARE WITH HEAVY AGE WEAR AND PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1700s TO FRENCH NAPOLEONIC ERA.
