Ginny outfit from 1952 named “Roller Skater” from the Sports Series. It’s a red quilted gingham dress with yellow bias trim on the bodice and around the bottom edge of the skirt. It also has felt flower trim across the front of the skirt. It closes in the back with the original hook and eye and has a blue script "Vogue" tag sewn on the inside. It is in good played with condition, no rips or stains. The fabric is clean, the colors are nice although lighter than they or...iginally were.. This outfit is for an 8 inch doll. This outfit is shown in the book the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls- 2nd Edition" by Izen and Stover. The book shows the blue and yellow version of this outfit, the red and yellow and is what I have.
