Kalamazoo Toy Train Works 4-4-0 D&RGW #11 Train Set TESTED &RUNNING! This is a G scale train set from Kalamazoo Train Works featuringa 4-4-0 locomotive / tender, and two matching cars in Denver and Rio GrandeWestern livery with a road number of 11. In their original boxes with thecorrect outer tray box too I believe. There is no track, nor do I see a placefor it in the box.The two cars are a freight/baggage and a coach, and theset comes with an MRC Loco-Motion 2500 transf...ormer (which tested working on mymultimeter) in its original box.The locomotive runs beautifully and smoothly in bothdirections and the light is working. It pulled the cars with no problem.Cosmetically it’s in much better than average used condition with nice finish, bright vibrant colors, and crisp graphics and lettering.The passenger cars are similarly nice! One of the doorsis loose due to a missing top “nub” that holds it closed. Other than that I can’tfault them.The locomotive and car boxes are in good shape though thecellophane windows have some dust. The outer box/tray has some damage, but it’sdone its job well and protected the contents. I won’t attempt to use the grading scale because I’m notan expert. Please see the pictures for a more complete description and in caseI’ve missed or forgotten to mention something. Also, please don’t hesitate toask for more pictures if you can’t see something. I’m happy to help, but perhapsnot the best photographer. I’m not sure what else to include in thisdescription so please just ask! This is a big set and will ship in anadditional outer box to help preserve the set’s outer box – plus it’s justsafer that way! The package measures 41x19x7 and weighs 20 lbs., so if it lookslike shipping is a little high, that’s why.My wife and I are trying to reduce our clutter and she’dlove to see something substantial come OUT of the hobby room for a change andI’ve just never run this.
