After acquiring a 20, 000 square meter property on 21 October 1905 from the municipality of Laufamholz, buildings with a total useful area of 3500 square meters were erected, and on 10 February 1906, together with the mechanical engineer Ehmann, the watch factory under the designation "Uhrenfabrik Laufamholz - Köhler & Ehmann "was founded.

from the 10th of June 1921 under: Uhrenfabrik Laufamholz - Köhler & Co!In addition to the clock-style and table clocks in a variety of designs, automobile clocks took a special and decisive part.
Car companies such as NAG, Horch, Wanderer, DKW, Opel, Röhr and others were supplied with the respective special models in 8 day works.
These first models, under the brand name Bavaria, had the names Piccolo, Hermes, Luna and so on and found in the expert opinion a lot of encouragement.
At the time of the Second World War, the Luftwaffe was then supplied with corresponding clocks.
