Shenango china with the green indian stamp on the back and 2 with a date code of D-11 which I found dates them to July - December of 1953 and 2 with a date code of G-11 which should be3 years later, 1956. For being 63 - 65 years old, they are in awesome shape - no chips, cracks or crazing and very little ware. They are a creamy white color with a gold exterior ring followed by a thinner blue ring, a gold seal at the top that says "Department of the Navy" with a fouled ancho...r in the clutches of an eagle and one last gold ring. They are 7.25" salad/desert plates. If you collect vintage navy pieces, you need to add this to your collection!! Don't miss out on these awesome plates.
