VTG~1960's Hermes 3000 Seafoam Typewriter w/Case~Script (Cursive)~Swiitzerland. Serial # 3196713.
For the age, this typewriter is in good shape. Keys move freely, no sticking. The typewriter needs a new ribbon and a different screw on the space bar. It appears the previous owner replaced a screw that was longer than the other.
Please look at photos. There are a few scratches on the back and something was taped to the right side, leaving some tape an...d residue. I am going to let the new owner take care of that.
We no longer have anyone that cleans or refurbishes typewriters or I would have had it done.
This typewriter was purchased several years ago at an estate sale and has made at least 4 moves with us...the last move, it was placed in the garage! It is too nice of a machine to just sit unused for who knows how long.
The type is SCRIPT (CURSIVE). There is a small crease/dent on the backside of the cover. Not noticeable from top. See photo. Condition is Used.
