Here is an antique corkscrew known as a peg & worm.Georgian polished steel and made in two parts like this for ease of travel in your pocket.
No maker's marks etc.
It is in collectable condition with signs of age and use wear. No damage to the metalware but it is a bit tarnished in places.Please see pictures.
It measure approx. 66mm x 55mm when set up.
Items are shown next to an English 1 penny which is 20mm (11/16th of an inch) diameter for scale....>
