Stunning Victorian Red Celluloid Scrapbook with a photo of Pope Pius X on the cover.Intricate brass clasp, tooling on the corners of the red celluloid and gold gilt edged pages.Name in the front cover stating this was presented originally to the family member December 24, 1904.There are 13 hard cardboard pages - each has a photo or photos- total of 35 pictures. Most are full size but a few are smaller.Most of the photos are labeled below with the name in handwriting. ...Some include the place including Corning, Iowa. There is a Rppc post card from Pine Junction. Mostly children and family portraits. There is a picture of a young man in his military uniform, killed in WWII. There is also a picture of a priest.The full size photos are all in very good condition as are the pages. Some light wear consistent with age but amazing condition overall. A few of the smaller photos have light fading.This is a treasure!
