Vintage Sunoco 5 Gallon Mercury Made Motor Oil Can Advertising 10W Gas Station

Up for offering is a vintage circa 1940's Sunoco 5 Gallon 10w oil can in very respectable condition. Measures 10 1/2" in diameter and 17" in height from the base to the tip of the spout. Has some rust on surface, seam rings, scratches on painted surfaces, and some distortion on the bottom surface of the can. Still retains the wood handle and all three cap cork gaskets. Inside is very clean but does have a sticky dried oil residue and I can see no evidence of any holes. On the insi...de there is a small 1/2" diameter discoloration opposite of the rusted area on the outside of the can. The last two pictures show the most significant damage that I can find. Does not have any major dents on the top or side surfaces but does have some slight distortion and son circular dents on the bottom surface of can as can be seen in the pictures. Wood handle is in very good condition with no splits and this can is in untouched original condition having no touch ups and has only been wiped clean with a dry towel.
