Early Hoyt tube tester made by Burton Rogers Co.This tester likely dates to the early 1920s. There is a short list of tubes on the instruction label such as WE 216A, WD11, etc.The tester is in excellent condition showing normal expected wear from handling and age. There is a wire coming from the front of the base that is probably missing a grid cap.The base measures 8.75'' x 5''. Overall height without tube is about 2.5''Included is a NON WORKING Western Electric Tennis Bal...l tube No. D-86326. The tube displays very well but is not functional and has a crack in the glass arbor inside and small chip on the tip.This early tester requires separate power supplies for plate and filament. I have not attempted to use it and am offering it as found, untested. The meter movement does move freely and I'm not aware of any problems with the tester aside from missing grid cap.I will be listing more vintage audio in the next couple of days keep an eye on my listings!Please be sure to keep an eye on my other auctions.
